What is Fair Trade?

People often ask: Why fair trade?

When Tumi started in 1978 the word fairtrade was not used in the same way as it is today. But there are organisations in the UK such as Tearcraft and later Tradecrafts and Tumi who developed the concept and tried to show others that you can make viable business in a capitalist society whilst being fair and just with the people who provide you with the income, often the artesans who live in developing countries.

Mexican Mugs and Matching Tiles feed

These mugs are hand made in Mexico and each one is hand painted with a different animal design.  They are a good size and nice to drink out of and make great presents for children and adults alike.   We also have a wooden mug tree which holds 4 large ceramic mugs, a great space saver which also looks attractive.

Featuring the same animals as the mugs is a range of grey tiles which come with holes in the top so that they can be hung like a tiny picture on the wall.  Popular with children.
