When Tumi started in 1978 the word fairtrade was not used in the same way as it is today. But there are organisations in the UK such as Tearcraft and later Tradecrafts and Tumi who developed the concept and tried to show others that you can make viable business in a capitalist society whilst being fair and just with the people who provide you with the income, often the artesans who live in developing countries.

Mexican Tiles & mugs feed

Our range of hand painted glazed Mexican tiles are extremely popular and versatile.  They are made in the colonial city of San Miguel de Allende and are available in 2 sizes.  They come in a wide range of designs which are applied using the silk screen process.  We also sell some single coloured plain tiles.    Also available, a range of decorative grey tiles featuring different animals such as owls, pigs and elephants to name a few.   These tiles are more like miniature paintings and are designed to be hung individually.  We also have a range of popular hand painted mugs with the same animal designs as the grey tiles.  Lastly, our mug tree holds 4 sturdy mugs in a wooden stand, saving space and looking great.
