What is Fair Trade?

People often ask: Why fair trade?

When Tumi started in 1978 the word fairtrade was not used in the same way as it is today. But there are organisations in the UK such as Tearcraft and later Tradecrafts and Tumi who developed the concept and tried to show others that you can make viable business in a capitalist society whilst being fair and just with the people who provide you with the income, often the artesans who live in developing countries.

We Now Accept Paypal

As a new service to our customers we now accept payment through Paypal. Just select this as a payment option during our checkout process.

You may be interested to know that you can pay through Paypal even if you do not have an account with them. When you reach the Paypal payment page there are instructions for paying by credit card without a Paypal account, on the left side of the page.

Alternatively you can pay securely by credit card through Paypoint.net (formerly Secpay) - just select this as a payment option during our checkout process.
