What is Fair Trade?
People often ask: Why fair trade?
When Tumi started in 1978 the word fairtrade was not used in the same way as it is today. But there are organisations in the UK such as Tearcraft and later Tradecrafts and Tumi who developed the concept and tried to show others that you can make viable business in a capitalist society whilst being fair and just with the people who provide you with the income, often the artesans who live in developing countries.

Silver Jewellery
The Tumi collection of sterling silver jewellery includes a range of classic earrings such as silver hoop earrings, silver ball earrings as well as Mexican calado earrings. These have the design cut out from the silver producing a very special effect. We also have earrings set with semi precious stones and dreamcatcher earrings with a matching dreamcatcher necklace.
Our opal silver jewellery includes pendants on sterling silver chains as well as link bracelets. We also have link bracelets set with turquoise, malachite and other stones. One of our most popular lines is our sun pendants and eclipse pendants all set with semi precious stones. These come on a sterling silver chain and are presented in a black velvet box with information about the stone used. All of our fair trade handmade sterling silver jewellery is made for us by skilled craft workers in Mexico.
