Pottery

The majority of our fair trade pottery is made for us in small workshops in Mexico where the tradition of working with clay goes back many many centuries to the Olmec and other pre-Hispanic cultures.

In many rural areas these ancient techniques are still used today, producing a great variety of earthenware pieces. Our collection includes many decorative pots, figures and animals as well as replicas of pre-hispanic pieces such as the Aztec calendar. We also offer a wide variety of circle of friends, masks, fish and sun and moon figures, all of which make a great gifts for family and friends.
